Our wide-ranging set of dog training classes covers the whole spectrum, from basic puppy socialising and life skills through to various activity classes for more advanced dogs with equal enjoyment.
Once your dog is registered with us we will discuss with you the best slot on the timetable for your weekly training classes or 1:1 session. Weekly classes are priced at £67 a month. Monthly workshops and short courses are also held regularly and are all bookable in advance.
If you’re not sure which course or class will suit your dog’s needs and abilities, never fear – we’ll start out with a training assessment where we can recommend the best route and length of course for your dog or puppy.
Training classes are usually conducted in group sessions (with restricted numbers) at our Warminster centre, with occasional excursions. We also do many one-to-one training sessions as they are needed, both inside the centre and out and about.

Puppy training classes are valuable for all sorts of reasons, not least to foster a strong bond between owner and pet. Some of the main benefits include:

Fun for dog and handler through courses including tunnels, barrels, hoops and go-go mats with fun sequences. The focus is on distance handling, teamwork, control and confidence.

Using the dog’s natural instincts and powerful sense of smell they are taught to locate various scents, respond to search cues and communicate with their handler. We start simply then build up to complex hides, blind hides and double-blind hides, including height and discriminatory scents, building up to scentwork odour recognition tests and trials.

In canine parkour dogs learn to interact with objects in the environment. We work through level 1 & 2 behaviours initially to include 2 feet, 4 feet, in, under, through, straddle, wobbly, balance and more. Adventurous agility and good brain stimulation.

The ultimate in giving your dog fun outlet and exercising their natural drives. All allowing you to build in control over these drives.
We run a monthly Puppy Club (£8) and socialisation workshop (£20) for the little ones under six months old, and monthly workshops to teach “Tricky Teens” – adolescent dogs – socialisation skills (£20).
Our other monthly sessions are the popular Paws & Picks Drop In (£20) for all ages (as long as they are happy to be in a group with other dogs). The bespoke curriculum is designed from a huge range of obedience and sports activities aimed at fun.
In addition, we run rotating monthly workshops covering a variety of topics, all set a few months in advance and advertised on the website and social media.
We are always happy to help with any particular challenges your dog is facing, whether it is with a full 45 min one-on-one session (£65) or a 30 minute session every two weeks (£35).
All our training sessions (weekly and monthly) have to be booked in advance online, once you have registered with the Centre.

Charismatic Pets are proud to be the acknowledged puppy training experts in Wiltshire, with daytime, evening and Saturday classes and workshops taking place at our Dog Training Centre in Warminster.
We offer three main scheduled group training events on a regular basis, with one to one bespoke training sessions also available on request. All activities are to be booked online in advance.
Focus on self control and life skills, including recall, loose lead walking and problem solving. Parkour, Hoopers and Scentwork training is introduced.
These cover all the basics and lay the foundation for further training. We take puppies aged up to six months, after they receive their first vaccination.
Puppies and owners can attend weekly classes for £65 a month (direct debit).
There is always a waiting list, but places become available quickly as puppies graduate. You shouldn’t have to wait longer than a month to begin classes after registering online.
These guided socialisation sessions for (twice vaccinated) puppies, six months old or younger, are held on the first Thursday of every month at 12pm.
The cost is £20 per session – please book online in advance.
This monthly event is held once a month on a Saturday at 1pm and gives you and your dog the chance to explore the Training Centre, chat with our experts, socialise and enjoy relaxed on lead activities.

As your young hound grows out of puppyhood through to adolescence he or she can move on to our Juvenile Training Classes, designed for dogs aged four to six months and upwards.
Our classes for juveniles are offered weekly at our training centre for a fee of £67 per month by direct debit, with classes scheduled according to our timetable for daytime, evenings or Saturdays.
These classes help your puppy to progress beyond foundation behaviours, working more deeply on self-control and management, tweaking behaviour as it develops to prevent future problems.
Juvenile pupils graduate straight up to our “Tricky Teens” course for adolescent dogs, and then onward to the novice level and adult classes.
We also run a teenage social club for nervous or overzealous dogs aged between six and 18 months, who need a little more help with their social skills and interactions, priced at £20 a session. The focus is on meet and greet behaviour and controlled relaxation in social situations.
